Buffaloes are apparently qf low ovarian response, cpeat breeders and silent heat due to fhe weak estrous sympfoms. D!lferent hormonal treatments failed to give u high percentage of success due to the diagnosis accuracy for the ouanan response. The present sludy was conducted on anoestrus bujjato-cows. 5-7 years old divided into 2 groups (A and B) .group A lnduded 25 buffalo cours. their Ovaries showed small sizcd antral follicles lased on ullrasonographic examination. Group B include 25 buffalo -cows randomly selected based on rectal examination that revealed strue- tureless ovaries. Animals in both groups were injected wilh an activating dise of FSH-P (4 lU/animal) and if the animal cloes not respond.
