Procedures: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were prepared then added to locally produced inactivated trivalent FMD vaccine used in Egypt. Twenty cattle were classified into 4 groups (5 in each group).The first group was vaccinated by FMD trivalent inactivated oil adjuvant vaccine plus AgNPs (3ml subcutaneously), the second group was vaccinated by FMD trivalent inactivated oil adjuvant vaccine (3ml subcutaneously). The third group was vaccinated by FMD trivalent inactivated vaccine plus AgNPs as adjuvant (2ml subcutaneous). The fourth group was injected by AgNPs only (1 ml subcutaneous). Sera samples were collected from all animals groups for measuring humeral immunity by using serum neutralization test (SNT) and cell mediated immunity by using bovine Interleukin 6 (IL-6) at first ,second, third and fourth week for (IL-6 and SNT) and at 2 months and 4 months for SNT.Results: The size of AgNPs by TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) is ranged from 5.8 to 28.51 nm. Antibody titer by SNT revealed that first group was the highest group reach to protective value at 2 weeks (1.538 log10) and reach to peak at 2 months (2.77 log10). Bovine IL-6 was revealed that animals vaccinated by AgNPs appear more quickly than that vaccinated by FMD inactivated oil adjuvant vaccine.
